Since I’ve been getting a lot of inquires about having pets join in on the fun of a family session, I decided that it would be awesome to blog about it. Why? Because I’ve done multiple sessions with pets! Dogs specifically. I would not consider myself a Pet Photographer, however I have managed to nail some shots.

First some quick tips on how to make sure that we have the BEST chance of getting awesome images with your pets:

1. Please get to the location early and allow them to run around, to expend some of their energy so they’ll be more eager to “sit”. Yes I love the action shots, but most clients always want that one family photo where everyone is posed and smiling :)2. Bring treats. No brainer, right?3. Bring one of their favorite toys, it helps a ton!4. Come with some patience! There’s no need to worry if it’s difficult, I work hard (and have a few tricks) to get the shots we need for you!now some pictures:
