I believe that Engagement Sessions are essential because they’re like the rehearsal to game day. That’s the chance for you to work with your photographer for the first time. To see how they work, elicit emotion, posing, etc.

Though there isn’t the stress, time constraints, and other factors of the wedding day, you can still get an idea of how they work. And with the photographer spending ALL DAY of the biggest day of your life with you, its crucial for you to be comfortable with them. Which is why ALL of my wedding packages include a complementary Engagement session.
